Today saw the conclusion of a multi-faceted, 3-day national drill in collaboration with the IDF, that saw MDA teams providing a medical response to victims across a number of scenes in the Western Galilee and Haifa. MDA’s reservist unit was called up as part of the drill, and alongside MDA teams provided the medical response to the simulated security events.

MDA teams in the field and in the 101 Dispatch Center provided a simulated response across multiple sites and with various simulations, including mortar fire along the northern border, rocket fire towards Haifa, and multiple shooting sites. The peak of the drill, alongside teams from the Israel Police, Fire and Rescue and the IDF, saw MDA teams provide a medical response to a multi-casualty incident that saw 90 patients and took place in the Sami Ofer Stadium in Haifa.
