A group of extreme leftists arrived this morning (Friday) in the village of Hawara and held a march in support of the residents of the village, following the events at the beginning of the week that developed after the murder of the Hillel Weigal Yaniv brothers on Sunday on the main road that runs through the village.

Member of Knesset Zvi Sukkot arrived at the scene and presented to the extreme leftists photos of the murdered and injured Jews who were hit during the drive through the village in recent times.

Sukkot, who lives in the nearby settlement of Yitzhar, told of the multiple injuries inflicted by the Havura Arabs on the Jewish residents in the area whose access road passes through the village, and even criticized their decision to come to reinforce the residents of the hostile village.

“The residents of the village of Hawara have been encouraging terrorism and supporting terrorism for a long time. For many years we have been warning that Hawara is a village that supports terrorism and is full of incitement. The attitude towards the village should be accordingly and the State of Israel should deal with it with a heavy hand and zero tolerance towards encouraging terrorism on the part of the villagers.”

The head of the Samaria Council, Yossi Dagan, also arrived at the demonstration site and made sure that the residents were allowed to pass. Dagan was verbally attacked with curses and insults by the activists of the extreme left and the Arabs.

“Puzzling conduct, when hundreds of thousands of citizens stood in traffic jams yesterday due to a non-violent demonstration at the Taphum junction due to fear that some people would march to Abitar, and on the other hand, when extreme left activists and anarchists arrive with PLO flags, they are allowed to reach the Tumfuh junction unhindered, and as a result they block the road in danger security. This thing is a scandal. There is clearly selective enforcement here, this is something that has no place in a democratic country, I demand an immediate home inspection on this issue. and reboot the system,” Dagan said.
