(Click on image to ENLARGE) 3:30PM EST: Please take a moment to say Tehillim for Shamshin Raphael ben Rochel Matel, a 5-year-old child who was found injured in a parking lot of a Monticello Bungalow Colony on Wednesday afternoon.
Catskills Hatzolah Paramedics arriving on the scene, immediately called for a Medevac to transport the child to Westchester Trauma Center due to the severity of the injuries.
Although it is unknown how the child was injured, it is presumed that he was struck by a vehicle.
The child is the son of a long-time Flatbush Hatzolah member, and Osek Bitzarchei Tzibur.
May he have a complete Refua Shelaima along with all other Choley Yisroel.
UPDATE 9:00PM EST: Raphael is stable but is still in very serious condition with some internal injuries and fractures. Please continue to be mispaplell for Shamshin Rephael b-n Rochel Matel. The family thanks everyone for their concern and their continued Tefillos.

Im sure hakodosh borchu knows that the child is the son a Hatzolah member and Osek Bitzarchei Tzibur and will take all his zechusim into cheshbon and send him a Refua Shleima Bikorov.
As far as the rest of us are concerned, he is a yiddish child and we need to be mispallel as if it was our own child. Regardless of who or what the parents are.
Refua Shleima Bikorov.
Klal yisroels tefillos are with you all the way.
May Hashem give this precious little boy a refuah shelayma!
Iy”H she will be saved, Hashem doesn’t bring a takalah to a person where he’s nizhar in
Let’s stop imagining what Hashem’s cheshbonos are and do our job by praying for the child!!
Let’s just daven for the child and not try to figure out Hashem’s cheshbonos.
Hey Tam, (befitting)
My point was, its not nogeiah to us if the father is a godol hador or a poshuteh yid, a yiddeshe kint needs our tefillos and should not make a difference who the father is.
Im really tired of hearing, anytime there is a tzoro, of “what kind of wonderful family that person is from”. It doesn’t matter. A yid is a yid.
#7- beautifully said. Does anyone have an update?
