The vote of some 200 m Myers of the Democrat Party in no way causes you to put shame on every registered Democrat in the country. None of us elected more than one member of the House of Representatives.
I detest the Congresswoman but her constituents are entitled to representation and all powers of committee assignments that go with her seniority.
I also detest M Taylor Nazi Greene but her committee assignments and power are the right of her constituents.

If I understand correctly, Dems recently established a precedent of taking members of other parties from the committee, and Reps are retaliating. Whatever it is, yes, people are entitled to have their rep, and Congress as a whole is entitled to limit their powers. This is not a bad rule in terms of dealing with extremists and keep Congress somewhat “centered”.

Note other similar events in recent past – Dems changing Senate rules for district judges, and Reps responding by changing Supreme court rules.

Note that this is not fair warfare – Dems are usually the first to move and Reps are playing defense.
Eventually this will cause even higher outrage and Reps will start pushing for starting out with their own changes. This is not going in a good direction. I hope they all stop.

Next time a Jewish member of the House claims to be supportive of Jews and Israel, remember this vote. Jewish politicians, in the House and Senate, only care about themselves. This is ESPECIALLY true of Hypocrite #1, Chuck Schumer.

My point about constituents is that they elected a member of the House (whether I like the choice is not an issue) and expect her to be able to serve on all committees to which she was appointed. They did not cede this power to other members of the House.
There are 435 constituencies who have elected voting members of the House and it is my opinion the constituents should not be diminished in importance by a vote of the members.

Democrats have made all these stupid wicked choices:

time, but police are unusual in getting unlimited sick time.
I don’t practice personal injury law. Last year my Son in law represented a homeowner being sued by a handyman who claimed he was injured on the job. Records showed the handyman was a cop who had called in sick for the 8 days he was painting the house for the homeowner.
The injury turned out to be bogus and he was dismissed from his police position after losing a contract obligated arbitration. He took a plea deal to avoid prison time for an assortment of crimes committed running a long time handyman side business while on the municipal clock, but he did lose his pension.
I don’t object to an employee taking an occasional sick day when not really ill, but in need of a mental health day. I do object to the employee being paid for the sick day and also other work for the same time period.

Your definition of “Islamist” is not the way the dictionary or wikipedia defines it. You should have used the word ‘radical’.

She is not a radical. She is a moderate , conservative democratic member of the American House of Representatives.
She is also not an islamist. She is a Muslim. Andre Carson from Indiana is also a Muslim. They are both upstanding US citizens and members of the US congress. They swore an oath on the koran to uphold the constitution. They did not hold the constitution and swear an oath to uphold the koran.

That is your perception , but it is not objective.
