Prominent dati leumi posek HaGaon HaRav Chaim Druckman has come out strongly against participating in the Million Man Atzeres. The atzeres has created a split in the dati leumi community, as some are strongly behind the event, citing it is a major tefilla event against efforts to curtail limud Torah. Others however, including Rabbi Druckman, who heads the Yeshivot Bnei Akiva network, announced on motzei Shabbos that he is opposed to the Million Man Atzeres called by Maran HaGaon HaRav Aaron Yehuda Leib Shteinman Shlita.
Rav Druckman was speaking to Channel 2 TV News, explaining “he resents it”, referring to the atzeres which he views as an affront to the State of Israel, perceiving the atzeres accusing the state of “fighting against Malchus Shomayim”.
“I am shocked and outraged” he added, calling on those who follow his word not to participate in the event. He added “We are we living today? We are living in the State of Israel Baruch Hashem and we must be thankful for this, even if there things I criticize”.

How is it that you can relate your love for the “STATE OF ISRAEL” with its intent on trying to destroy Torah.
If the government which you hold so dear were to move the boarders of this State and inch tomorrow you would be up in arms.
Yet there is an open war against Torah, Shabbos, Kashrut, Geyrus, Taharas Mishpacha and you have the gaul to sit back and proclaim your love.
Look deep down and think about your parents grandparents and great grand parents and see if you can find somewhere in your heart which has so much love for the forces of destruction, to find some love and affection towards the people who are fighting for the torah way of life.
The Army is not the key to national security. Only HKBH can protect us from the inevitable.
Where is your Emunah and Bitachon. Why are you hiding behind a vail of hatred.?

Wow, I didn’t know Mr. Mustache was going it alone against the the greatest Gedolim of our generation! He is on the wrong side of history! He is takeh dumber than I thought! B”H the other DL Rabbonim disagree with this guy!
To the previous posters – is this the level of Kavod you give to an acknowledged Talmid Chacham? Of course you can disagree with him – the Chareidi community and its Gedolim do on many issues – but that is not a Hetter for being Mevazeh a Talmid Chacham and Marbitz Torah like Rav Druckman, Shlita.
You may well not consider him on the level of Rav Shteinman, Shlita, or others, but Rav Druckman is no lightweight.

Understand that you are responsible for the schism created by the differences of oppinion between Chareidi and Dati-leumi groups and doing the work of Lapid.
