HaGaon HaRav Moshe Hillel Hirsch, Rosh Yeshivas Slabodka and member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah, is suffering from a serious illness.

Mass tefillos are being held in yeshivos and shuls across the world for his refuah.

The Rosh Yeshivah is scheduled to undergo treatments in the hospital in the coming months.

HaRav Hirsch, 84, is one of the most respected figures in the yeshivah world in recent years and has become the address for all Roshei Yeshivos, often ruling on cases of pikuach nefesh in yeshivos and girls’ high schools.

About three years ago, HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky, zt’l and יבלחט”א HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein appointed HaRav Hirsch as a member of the Moetzes and in charge of inyanei yeshivos.

On Sunday evening, HaGaon HaRav Dov Landau, the other Rosh Yeshivah of Slabodka, requested that the bnei yeshivah daven and be mechazeik in limmud for the zechus of HaRav Hirsch’s refuah sheleimah.

The public is asked to daven for the refuah sheleimah of HaGaon HaRav Moshe Hillel ben Mindel b’toch shaar cholei Yisrael.
