In what “professional world” do you operate?? I am not aware of any major law firm, investment or commercial bank, communications firm or indeed any Fortune 500 company that REQUIRES employees to select a preferred pronoun. Some encourage including such preference in their email signature blocks but could you share with us which major employer requires such a designation.
