One of the two ibexes which ran away from the Ramat Gan Safari has been recovered and officials are still searching for the second on Sunday morning.
The two made their escape on Friday, but one was apprehended with police assistance a number of hours later. The second has yet to be found.
After tracking down the first ibex in an area building site, he was tranquilized and then safely transported back to the safari.
Zoo officials admit that it is possible that he found his way back to the safari, or possibly, he is still at large in the Gush Dan area. Officials are attempting to take a headcount on Sunday to ascertain the disposition of the second one, believed still lost.
