A national preparedness exercise will be held in Israel’s public school system on Monday, 24 Adar I 5774 at 10:05. A siren will be heard around the country signaling the start of the event, which will conclude at 12:00. The exercise is being conducted in coordination with the IDF Homefront Comment, the Union of Local Authorities, Magen David Adom and the Israel Fire Service.

Beginning at 13:00, each school’s first response unit will be expected to conduct a training event to determine its level of expertise and at 16:00, schools will test the “learning from a distance” program via the internet.
