It will be an historic event as it appears the Moetzas Gedolei Yisrael of Shas, Degel Hatorah and Agudas Yisrael will be meeting together this week.
The meeting has been announced for this coming Tuesday. during the evening hours in Bnei Brak. The members of the Agudas Yisrael Moetzas Gedolei Yisrael will convene an hour earlier in the home of the Vishnitzer Rebbe Shlita at 13 Ahavas Shalom Street in the Torah city at which time the Gerrer Rebbe, Belzer Rebbe, Sanzer Rebbe, Boyaner Rebbe, Slonimer Rebbe, Sadigura Rebbe, Biala Rebbe, Moditzer Rebbe Shlita will plan for the joint meeting. After that meeting they will head for the Vishnitz Hotel on Damesek Eliezer Street for the 19:30 meeting.
According to the announced schedule, the event will last for 20-30 minutes. There will be one address from each of the Ashkenazi councils and two from Shas. Rabbonim who are expected to address the forum are HaGaon HaRav Aaron Yehuda Leib Shteinman Shlita, the Slonimer Rebbe Shlita, HaGaon HaRav Shalom Cohen Shlita and an addition rav to be announced. The participants will sit in ‘ches’ configuration, with each council seated at its own table.
During the session, only the rabbonim shlita will be present in the room along with one secretary from each council, which including Rabbi Avrohom Rubinstein, Rabbi Mordechai Stern and Rabbi Amir Krisfel. The three will be seated at a separate table. MKs from Shas and Yahadut Hatorah are likely to enter to brief the rabbonim on ongoing events pertaining to the new draft law.
One of the decisions expected is a possible joint atzeres tefilla which would by most accounts attract hundreds of thousands of participants.
In the Eida Chareidis there is still indecision as to the planned event this week, the Wednesday, 26 Adar I 5774 protest set to take place in Yerushalayim. The Eida will announce if it plans to take part.

I’m sure that with such achdus, if all of the gedolim daven together, and maybe say a few prakim of tehillim, that not only will the terrible evil decree be annulled but also mashiach will probably come. Or at least this evil decree will be cancelled. It’s not possible that Hashem will not listen to all of their tefillos unless He actually wants this gzeirah.
We need to give credit to the zionist government. They have done more to create achdus among the frum community than anything in recent years. And think, when they move to ban bris milah and kosher slaughter (which the seculars are already talking about), then even Bayit Yehudi will join in.
