The national government or defense officials did not need Tuesday’s 2nd bulldozer attack to find justification to demolish the home of the terrorist in the Um-Tuba neighborhood of Yerushalayim.

It has been learned Duwiyat family has been trying unsuccessfully to complete their home for some 10 years, but Jerusalem City Hall has been preventing the completion of the home since the structure is illegal. Actually, a demolition order is pending against the home but it appears City Hall is hesitant to actualize the order.

Among the shouts heard following the attack to demolish the home was from none other than Jerusalem Mayor Rabbi Uri Lupoliansky, who we learn has the authority to raze the home without the involvement of the national government since it was built illegally and is in violation of the local laws.
