A Beersheva talmid torah under the direction of Rabbi Yoram Abarjil was targeted in a vandalism attack as swastikas were painted on the building and sign. Police were notified and responded to the scene. City Hall sent workers to clean the graffiti off the building.

Shas MK Eli Yishai stated that this is the atmosphere that has been created towards chareidim in Erez Yisrael today, explaining “the restraint has been removed and the atmosphere encourages such acts against chareidim and anyone who believes otherwise is mistaken.”
