COVER UP? NBC Deletes Report with Revelations About Attack on Nancy Pelosi’s Husband

Since House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul, was attacked by a mentally ill man in their San Francisco home, Democrats have been eager to pin the blame on Republicans and have accused them of fomenting hate and violence against politicians.

However, the details surrounding the ostensible break-in don’t necessarily match up with official reports of the incident. And now, NBC deleted an entire article with huge revelations about the story, which didn’t appear to be a break-in to the home at all.

NBC reported that Paul Pelosi himself opened the door for responding police and didn’t tell them that he was in danger.

“The 82-year-old did not immediately declare and emergency or try to leave his home but instead began walking several feet back into the foyer toward the assailant,” the report said.

A struggle then ensued, and the suspect, David DePape, hit Pelosi in the head with a hammer, it added.

The report was later deleted.

“This piece has been removed from publication because it did not meet NBC News reporting standard,” an editor’s note said.

Is there a cover up afoot?

  1. We know it was a cover-up. The was really nice “assailant/theif” was really nice. He let him Paul have a “restroom break” from where he called the police, he let Paul open the door for the police and Paul was so comfortable with the intruder that he didn’t declare an emergency but walked calmly back to the intruder…and their are other clues that don’t match up to the version they want us to believe.

The point is we have crazies and low-class beheimos with their crazy, low class spouses, in the government.

  2. So impressive how the folks here at TYW have the inside info, so they know that the criminal complaint – even though it was attested to a court of law by DOJ lawyers – is utter nonsense, while the retracted and unsourced NBC report is the Unassailable Truth. Absolutely no wish-casting or conspiracy mongering here. Nope, just the sober judgment of the informed elite.

  3. Reb Eliezer:
Why do you make up nonsense and lies?

First of all, Rak Hashem yireh laLeiv…you don’t know what really motivated him. But from publicly available information, the piece of toeiva in this story was very much NOT influenced by President Trump.

Let’s also not forget that this happened in San Francisco, not exactly a right-wing enclave.

You also omit that President Trump had requested National Guard to be on hand on 1/6 but that the wife of the subject of this story rejected that.

So, in other words, almost all of your comment is flat-out wrong.

  4. A lawyer:
We have no idea what happened there. But the suddenly-discredited story makes much more sense than total confusion.

The 911 call transcript was reported right after the story broke.

President Trump’s comment on the story was “break-out”, meaning as opposed to break-in. Elon Musk similarly commented that there might be a little more to this story.

It doesn’t take a lawyer to recognize that this whole story makes no sense. Just for starters, why would he let the guy call the police and only then smash the guy in the head specifically while the police were watching, as opposed to long before that and then leaving the house? And where were the Capitol police? Where are the security cameras from the house? Where is the footage from police body cams?

I hope investigation is not part of your practice.

  5. Hey, A Lawyer, you really need to learn how to think. The fact that there is a cover up here has been obvious from day one. There is security video, as has been reported and attested to by your very trustworthy DOJ lawyers, but we’re not being allowed to see it. There is dash cam video, as attested to by same lawyers, but we’re not allowed to know what’s in it. There have been different reports of who opened the door for the police (originally they stated that an “unknown person” opened the door), but we’re not allowed to know the truth. So we know that the “criminal complaint” is not at all clear and accurate, even though it was attested to by your oh-so-honest lawyers. But then again, you’re a lawyer, so what do I know…
