Eida Chareidis Ravaad HaGaon HaRav Moshe Sternbuch Shlita is threatening to step down amid growing controversy surrounding the construction in Beit Shemesh, the Golovnititz project.
Eida Chareidis Gavaad HaGaon HaRav Yitzchok Tuvia Weiss Shlita on Wednesday afternoon 12 Adar I 5774 is planning to protest at the building site with members of the beis din. According to a Kikar Shabbos report, Rav Sternbuch has threatened to resign if they protest against the construction. Simultaneously, a protest is planned at Kikar Shabbos in Yerushalayim.
Rabbonim in Rav R’ Sternbuch’s inner circle explain a protest would be in direct contradiction to his psak, ruling the construction is not compromising kevarim. The ravaad is unwilling to accept a public display of total disregard of his ruling. This latest development attests to the growing split in the Eida.

There has been lots of friction lately between the inner circle of the Badatz, so this is only another piece of the puzzle.
Can the editor please be kind and explain this websites Loshon Hora rules?
If the Machlokes is in some place where the editor is fond of, then he would ignore it because it’s Loshon Hora. But if it’s in the Eidah (which he obviously hates, since it’s against the Zionists) then he has no problem exadurating a dispute, and quote some Israeli news sources who have a clear mission.
Why does every person with an agenda think they can argue on one of Gedolei Hadar?! These chutzpinyaks don’t possess a 1/10,000th of his Torah knowledge or yiras shomayim!
Oy! Rav Scheinberger please intercede on our behalf. This could not have happened while you were mazkir.
This is a show of leadership that has been lacking in the past, and is desperately needed at this time. Unless the hilonim end their “war against the hareidim”, the frum community in Eretz Yisrael is facing an “existential” crisis (meaning their existence is on the line), and there is a need for decisive leadership.
Given the threats to throw hareidim in prison on a scale not seen since the times when we had to worry about gulags and concentration camps, and to seize funds raised overseas to support the hareidim of Eretz Yisrael – arguing over graves is trivial, especially since the Beis Din already investigated the matter, which should settle it.
