9:40PM EST: The NYPD from the 70PCT is on the scene of a suspicious package at 1325 East 19th Street [near Avenue M] in Flatbush. Arriving units have requested the Bomb Squad from the NYPD to respond, as well as a Level 1 Response has been requested. One source tells YWN that there may be some suspicious chemicals found in the package.
The multi-family apartment building has been evacuated at this time, and FDNY and FDNY/EMS are staging at the scene as well.

What a matsav! I was there.
Acording to my son who was there, the police said that they found bomb making material in an appartment on E. 19 St. next to the flower store. I was surprised that it wasn’t on the news.
for the record that is not what happend, i was there and jewish police officer came over to me and told me that there was a man inside, a locksmith, who was threatening to blow up the building and to “kill all the jews.”
