Many around the tri-state area were praying for an end to five days of scorching, sweltering heat and muggy humidity, but the National Weather Service says it’s not over yet. Hot and humid weather will continue through Monday afternoon.
A heat advisory is in effect until 6:00PM Monday.
Although the heat wave is expected to last through Monday, meteorologists say it won’t feel as bad because temperatures will be in the low 90s with less humidity.
