Sunday AM News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


ywnisrael.israel· An IDF soldier was injured during confrontations with Arabs in the eastern Gush Etzion near Tekoa on motzei Shabbos.

· IDF soldiers taking part in counter-terrorism operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron arrested six suspects on motzei Shabbos.

· Three firebombs were hurled onto a balcony of an apartment on HaChaiyal Street in the French Hill area of Yerushalayim.

· A man fell to his death from a considerable height on Lechi Street in Beersheva on Sunday morning. Police are investigating.

· A pole fell on a man in a public park on Moshe Sharret Street in Ramat Gan injuring him seriously. It appears he was also electrocuted in addition to injuries from being struck by the pole.

· The IDF reports that over 700 Syrian have been treated in Israel.

· Asylum-seekers protest in Tel Aviv on Sunday morning against the conditions in the Negev detention center.

· Hamat Gader in Tiveria: A 68-year-old woman was pulled from the water and resuscitated, reportedly in moderate condition.
