The head of the Republican National Committee is urging GOP officials to avoid appearances on MSNBC because of what he called the network’s “petty and demeaning” attacks.
The most recent incident that angered GOP chief Reince Priebus was a tweet by the network Wednesday that suggested the right wing will hate a new advertisement for Cheerios because it featured a biracial couple. MSNBC quickly tweeted an apology on the same account.
That didn’t satisfy Priebus, who said Thursday he will no longer appear on MSNBC or allow Republican National Committee officials on. Priebus urged other Republicans to avoid the network, where the shows usually lean left.
Priebus wants a public apology from network chief Phil Griffin. Griffin did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

This was long overdue.
Who was it that made fun of Romney for having a biracial grandchilde
Mr. Priebus’s proposal is a step in the right direction – much better than throwing reporters over the balcony.
Reminds me of a story about a pot and a kettle.

Or deficating in someone’s mouth as the MSdnc shlub wanted to do.
Not sure why this is such a big deal. Have you seen the ratings for al sharptongue, mr. Ed and rachel maddog? There aren’t too many people tuning in. If not for cnn’s wolf blitzkreig and captain piers morgan these guys would be dead last in the ratings.
Turns out, MSNBC guy was right! Have you seen the right wing outrage over the Coca-Cola commercial?
