Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman stated it was good that Minister of the Economy Naftali Bennett apologized to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. Lieberman made his remarks during a visit to the Golan Heights, stating that while one may disagree with policy, one cannot attack the prime minister as Bennett did.
Lieberman commented on the issue at hand that sparked Bennett’s remarks, that Israel may be heading to a deal with the PA (Palestinian Authority) in which some residents of yishuvim will remain in their homes while maintaining Israeli citizenship, but living under PA rule.
The foreign minister discarded the reports, assuring the nation no such plan will ever be agreed to by the administration.
