  1. I don’t get it , in the Hagada it states R Akiva and his Friends were in Bnei Barak , that’s over 90 years ago , can someone explain please ?

  2. Bnei Brak today is a modern city with no connection to Bnei Brak of the Tanaic period. ThAt is part of current day Tel Aviv.

  3. #1- For that matter, Bnei Brak is already mentioned in sefer Yehoshua (Ch. 19), delineating the border of nachalat shevet Dan. Ancient Bnei Brak is usually associated with a little hill (‘tel’) near the ‘Mesubim’ junction (which was named after the portion in the haggadah that you referred to). Modern Bnei Brak, which is several miles from there, was founded 90 years ago (by a group of religious farmers) and was named after ancient Bnei Brak.
