Avira, while most Chareidim in Israel speak Ivrit, most of them (especially Chasidim) also speak Yiddish. As to which is their first language and which is their second language, you might have a better idea. Among Chasidim it seems to me that most use Yiddish first, though by certain Chsiduses (Ger?) it can be the opposite.
