Catskills Hatzalah GPS Project Available to the Public!

staroflife1.gifAs previously mentioned on YWN, Catskills Hatzalah has completed an ambitious project to map all the camps and colonies in the Catskills region. This project was undertaken by a number of dedicated volunteers who navigated the mountains and marked the coordinates for all the locations listed. There are currently close to 650 points included, some as far away as Pennsylvania and beyond.

Catskills Hatzalah is now pleased to announce the availability of this project for use by the general public. Though there is no charge for this service, Hatzalah is requesting voluntary contributions to the Hatzalah GPS Project. All proceeds from this project will be used to purchase GPS equipment for the Catskills ambulances to enable them to better serve our community.  For further details please visit http://www.chvac.net
