Alex Jones, a powerful right-wing media personality and former ardent Trump supporter, said Wednesday that he’s getting off the Trump Train and throwing his support behind an expected 2024 presidential bid from Florida governor and rising conservative star Ron DeSantis.
On his daily show on Infoward, Jones said he “pig-headedly supported [Trump] a few years ago, even though I disagreed with his Warp Speed” – Trump’s efforts to develop a Covid-19 vaccine in 2020. Jones is staunchly anti-vaccine.
“I thought we had to keep him in office because of the nightmare scenario if Hillary or Biden got in,” Jones went on. “With that said, I am supporting DeSantis. DeSantis has just gone from being awesome to being unbelievably good. And I don’t just watch a man’s actions… Judge a tree by its fruits. I can also look in his eyes on HD video and I see the real sincerity.”
“This is what Trump should be like,” Jones asserted. “And I’ve been hammering this point, and he’s doing it now. And we have someone that is better than Trump. Way better than Trump.”

DeSantis now will get the support of those who believe in Alex Jones. Quite a blow to Trump who appeared on Alex Jones show in 2016. As recently as January 6, 2021 when Jones was an organizer and speaker at the Trump stop the steal event.

kind of ironic that of all the people to come out that they are dumping trump in favor of desantis it’s such a cracked individual as alex jones! i would have expected this from the more rational members of the right wing. Honestly this is a really bad sign for trump: trump would be exopected to do better among the crazier individuals while the more rational one would go for deSantis, so if he is already losing support in the more wacked segments then lokks like a pretty bad sign for him

There is an entire series being developed called ‘Devolution’, by Patel Patriot – part of which espouses the idea based on a lot of research, that Trump signed off on ‘Warped Speed’, though he didn’t strongly believe in it, and eventually hoped to undo it.

In politics, winning is everything, and polls suggest that Trump helped nominate a bunch of losers that will prevent a Republican take over of the Congress. If the Trump endorsed candidates triumph in blue and purple states, all Republicans who are less than pleased with Trump will change their tune.

As Orthodox Jews we love Trump. We think he should be president for four more years and do onto the DemocRATs as they did onto him. After that Desantis should take over for eight years. Every religious Jew owes a gratitude to our great friend president Donald Trump. I pray for him every day in shul that he should survive the DemocRATic attacks on him. He freed Mordechai Rubashkin. He cut the PA funding that paid to terrorists families who killed Jews. Any Jew who has any sense of yiddishkeit must support Trump in any which way.
