Despite Labor opposing the move, the Knesset on Monday evening approved two new cabinet appointments.
Ruchama Avraham-Balila was appointed as minister of tourism in a 45-42. Eli Aflalo was appointed as minister of absorption in a 47-42 vote.
There is significance to Labor’s opposition to the vote which in essence was a vote of no-confidence from the ruling Kadima Party’s main coalition partner.
