I picked up latest Toras Avigdor and found an interesting and relevant discussion of Trotsky, but then the mehaber says that he thinks Trotsky was _probably_ killed in Mexico and his last moment was “with a gun to his temple” – and still did not do teshuva. The Rav was 30+ years old when Trotsky was killed, so he surely knew that the guy was killed in Mexico and with an axe. I am sure he made a couple of jokes about it. so, who is actually writing this?
And it made me think that Trotsky was killed in such a sudden way to maybe prevent him from attempting teshuva?
