9:00AM ET: Boro Park Hatzolah is currently on the scene of a child which fell into a manhole, on 13th Avenue and 49th Street. The NYPD Emergency Services Units, as well as the FDNY are on the scene as well, and the child was being lifted back up to the street. Miraculously, he is reportedly in stable condition.

It is unknown why the manhole was open, but it appears that there may have been construction at the time of the incident, as there are orange cones near the opening of the hole.
