Two Palestinians were arrested in south Tel Aviv early Monday morning for alleged involvement in terror-related activities.
The arrest of the Palestinians, who had entered Israel illegally, was carried out by Shin Bet operatives and officers from the Israel Police’s Yamam counterterrorism unit.
“In a joint operation of the Shin Bet and Yamam, two Palestinian residents of Shechem were arrested in the early hours of Monday morning in south Tel Aviv after they entered Israel and there was suspicion that they may carry out a terror attack,” the police stated.
“The two were transferred for further questioning by the Shin Bet to clarify the circumstances of their entry to Israel.”
