Although it has been this way for some time already, the AAA of New Jersey has announced that the price of gas has officially reached the $4 per gallon milestone overnight.
Average prices were the highest in the Trenton area, at $4.03 per gallon, and in Middlesex, Somerset and Hunterdon counties, at $4 per gallon, the Associated Press reported.
The national average is $4.11. Averages across the country range from $3.91 in Missouri to $4.63 in Alaska.
The price of gas still remains lower than in many other places in the country.
With gas prices still on the rise, keep in mind that YWN has launched a ride-sharing network – which has Boruch Hashem seen an overwhelming response. The amount of rides shared since its inception two weeks ago, has far exceeded our expectations. Click HERE for the ride-sharing page. It is also located in the “Community” section – on the right side of the YWN homepage.
