Despite statements released by senior government officials seeking to indicate a demolition order against the Jerusalem home of a terrorist is a complicated matter, the attorney general and other legal experts have stated this is not the case. In actuality, the law permits such a move Attorney General Menachem Mazuz stated, adding that the move may however spark a harsh reaction from the international community. This appears to be what is truly troubling the defense minister and others.
Another senior legal expert announced on Monday that not only does the law permit destroying the home of a terrorist inside the Green Line, but the home does not even have to belong to the terrorist – it only needs to be a home where he lived.
Despite protests and demands that the home of the bulldozer terrorist be destroyed, Defense Minister Ehud Barak is stating the move may take months.
Some feel that Barak is intentionally stalling in the hope the issue will fade from the main news headlines as was the case in March when there were demands to destroy the Jerusalem home of the Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva terrorist, who murdered eight students and injured others. That home still stands, in Jerusalem’s Jabel Mukaber neighborhood.

Why is it a complicated matter? Just take a bulldozer and go!
I think that it would be a great idea if they used the actuall bulldozer used in the terrorist attack to demolish his house!
When they actually do it will talk….. They didn’t do it my Merkaz Harav and they never will. Too scared of what the world will think. FYI: Bitauch Leumi (national insurance here in Israel) will pay his wife and kids money because he is now dead.
