The Israeli IDF employee who was gravely wounded by terrorist sniper fire from Gaza earlier today has died of his injuries in Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva.
The man, who is now reported to have been 22-years-old, was hit by sniper fire in his upper torso as he was working on the security fence between Nachal Ohz and Kfar Aza. He was transported by an IAF chopper to the trauma unit.
The border between Israel and Gaza sustained damage from the blizzard that hit last week and portions still remain in a state of disrepair.

That area was not hit by snow, rather torrential rains.
