Reports in Israel signal that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has agreed to succumb to mounting US pressure regarding the Jordan Valley. Media reports indicate Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has already agreed in secret with US Secretary of State John Kelly that Israel will maintain control of the Jordan Valley for an additional 10-15 years. After that time period IDF soldiers will be replaced with PA forces, amid PA assurances of free passage for Israeli citizens.
Kerry has stepped up the pace of his shuttle diplomacy visits between Israel and the PA (Palestinian Authority) as he desperately seeks to compel the sides to agree to a US-brokered deal.

“amid PA assurances of free passage for Israeli citizens.”
Well, that seems reliable.
Just like in 1948 when Jordan promised the UN Jews could go to holy sites in the old city.
This is a very dangerous move since the Jordan Valley is strategically important for Israel’s security.
I’ve never heard of John Kelly, but I’m pretty sure he’d do a better job as Secretary of State than John Kerry is doing.
