Transportation Ministry mobile inspection units during recent days have been focusing on buses and minibuses transporting children to and from summer camps. To date, 25% of the buses have been ordered off the road pending repairs and re-inspection.

On Sunday, 80 buses were inspected nationwide and 18 were ordered off the road. Others were told to make repairs but they were not deemed a safety hazard and were therefore permitted to continue on their way.
