CUOMO COMEBACK? Poll Finds Disgraced Former Gov in Close Race with Hochul

A hypothetical new poll finds that disgraced former NY Governor Andrew Cuomo has a real shot at winning the Democratic nomination against his successor, Governor Kathy Hochul, if he chooses to run in this June’s primary.

An Emerson College poll found that in such a matchup Hochul would have the support of 37% of Democrats, while Cuomo would be supported by 33%.

“We found that he’s only trailing Hochul by four points, so that was pretty surprising. And he seems to have a pretty strong base of about a third of Democratic voters who are sticking with him,” said Camille Mumford of Emerson.

Despite the closeness in support, a majority of voters said Cuomo should not seek public office again.

The poll also found that no other Democratic gubernatorial candidate received more than 10% support, including Long Island Rep. Tom Suozzi and New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams.

  1. I personally would be extremely happy if Coumo beats her and not because I have anything against her it’s just that I feel that coumo deserves a lot of credit for taking the plague seriously and making All the enforcements. I was not happy that because of the allegations which by the way the presecuters even threw away the case but even before that happened I didn’t think that all the good deeds should have been erased just like that.

  2. Unfortunately , much of the Anti-Semitism in New York was fueled by the anti Jewish rethoric of our disgraced New York governor Andrew Coumo and our past New York City mayor Bill DeBlasio. When they pointed out on the media in front of millions of people , that our Jewish communities are ignoring their Covid rules. While at the same time they were encouraging “Black Live Matters” protests, that were far more law breaking . It is time for the Jewish community leaders to demand justice for the damage done, by the hate spewing words and actions, of these previously elected officials.
