A passenger on an Allegiant Air flight was kicked off because he was wearing a mask on which he wrote ‘Let’s Go Brandon.’
Video of the incident was posted to social media platform TikTok, and shows a flight attendant arguing with the passenger. The attendant tells the man to take his mask off “because of the comment you’ve got written on there.”
The passenger argued that he has a right to freedom of expression, but the flight attendant said he can either remove the mask or be forcibly removed from the plane, claiming that the mask was in violation of “an FAA regulation.”
The man was then thrown off the flight. It isn’t yet known whether he will be taking legal action against Allegiant Air.

Khrushchev 60 years ago….”Your children’s children will live under communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright; but, we will keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you will finally wake up and find you already have Communism.”
That’s a big fat lawsuit right there, whatever happened with our democracy?
Lol, Typical liberal, once they get a little power they abuse it.
Typically folks that have no control over themselves compensate by controlling others, that lady’s life must be pretty miserable to be offended by a mask!
WOW! That’s a lawsuit in the making. I’m sure they’re going to be hit with a LARGE settlement!
Stop complaining. In many countries such behavior, being critical of the leadership, would get you sent to the local concentration camp/gulag/gallows/black site. At least that isn’t happening in America (yet).
Great Idea. Wish that was me. I would be on my way to a small fortune.
The flight attendant misspoke. There is no such “FAA rule”. However, an airline has wide discretion to decide when a passenger’s actions, words, dress etc. would be disruptive to the passengers and crew and the captain can request that a passenger be removed from the aircraft. As long as the action is not based on a passenger’s race, ethnicity etc, the rules would allow the passenger to “cover over” the offending wording or fly with another airline. This is nothing new and T-shirts with obscene or politically volatile words or symbols have always been an issue.
The passenger should have asked to see a copy of the supposed regulation and pushed the case further based on its doubtful presence and on whether or not it was mentioned on any of the flight tickets documents.
Biden’s America. Trump getting kicked off Twitter all over again.. I wish that flight attendant a refua sheleima from her obvious mental disorder.
where is the mask
Whatever happened to the freedom of speech and expression? This man never threatened anyone or acted in a threatening manner.
Since when did America become a communist country?
One lucky guy is going to get millions in a clear violation of First Amendment. Everyone should try that to make it into a class action.
Dorah,
What would you say if the flight attendant removed someone from the aircraft for wearing a Black Lives Matter shirt?
Oo
Oooooooohhhhhh lolllll oh baby
That’s a couple million for him right there
Nice!
Passengers have been removed from flights for decades for having lewd or obscene comments on their clothing. There filed terms of carriage (aka tariffs) of most airlines contain generic language stating that, their agents and flight crews “may, in their sole discretion, refuse to transport, or may remove from an aircraft at any point,” a passenger who engages “in lewd, obscene, disruptive or patently offensive behavior, including wearing clothes that are lewd, obscene, patently offensive or contain language likely to create disruption or jeopardize safe flight operations”. You can find the relevant language on the airline websites. The Courts have consistently upheld these rules since none wants to second guess what might result in a broigas at 40,000 ft. I suspect with all the current mask meshugaas and attacks on flight crews, the courts will be even more reluctant to override the judgement of an air carrier as to how they administer their rules.
MAGA hats are fine (and I’ve seen dozens of them onboard with no questions raised. Add some implied obscenity and you will find yourself spending quality time at the airport bar searching for an airline that will allow you onboard.
Dorah,
Do you honestly think the courts will uphold someone being kicked off a plane for the “implied obscenity” of a “Let’s Go Brandon” shirt or are you just afraid to answer questions directly without all the word salad?
BLM is far more obscene and offensive than LGB. And since refusing a flight attendant’s order has become a crime, they are now state actors and are bound by the first amendment.
ThEy ArE NoW StAtE AcToRs…. Listen, do you want to get to your destination, or be “right” and get kicked off the plane. The guy is a disbrain.
If you want to get to your destination ALWAYS wear a Black Lives Matter hat or shirt. Not only won’t they kick you off, u will get to sit in First Class. Or maybe pilot the entire plane,
