Wind chills are making temperatures feel like they are in the teens throughout the tri-state area Sunday, in what is shaping up to be the coldest day since last February.
In some parts wind chills were below zero Sunday morning.
A wind advisory was in effect though 6 p.m. for most of the tri-state, including New York City. A red flag warning was also in effect as dry and windy conditions are capable of rapidly spreading any brush fires.
Storms are expected Tuesday night into Wednesday, with heavy rains possible and the potential for some localized flooding. There may also be some snow Tuesday night, especially north and west of the city. Expect travel conditions to be affected Wednesday.
Thanksgiving will likely be mostly dry and windy with a few flurries possible.
