The National Action Network is calling attention to “knockout,” a dangerous street game they say is spreading around the country.
Police say a 20-year-old Jewish man was punched by a person among a group walking by in the opposite direction in Crown Heights more than a week ago. Community leaders are blaming the so-called knockout game for this disturbing attack.
The premise of the “game” is to punch an unsuspecting passerby and knock them unconscious. They say the teens who play the vicious game usually range in age from 13 to 20. Jewish leaders are thankful there is increased awareness about these types of attacks.
The National Action Network says it is asking the district attorneys in all five boroughs to not accept any plea deal from those who participate in these attacks.

These punks playing the “knockout” game will only learn their lesson when a victim plays the shootout game.
