Reply To: Research: The ultra-Orthodox are happier than the secular by a considerable marg

surely the question is what is it about being ‘religious’ that makes us ‘happier’
is it all the community support and feeling of belonging or is it a feeling of connection with the Divine, or something else?
and what do we mean by ‘happier’ anyway…?
aren’t we in danger of just following the American Dream of the ‘pursuit of happiness’ rather than connecting to what’s really important in life?
