The K-9 unit based in Kfar Tapuach in Shomron continues the search for missing person Amit Lichtshein in the mountainous region around Tirat HaCarmel in close proximity to where he was last seen, last week. Amit is 31-years-old, tall thin, and has green eyes.

If he is not found by Shabbos the search will continue on Shabbos and afterwards. Those involved in the search have consulted with Rabbi Dov Lior Shlita who ruled that for as long as there is a chance that he is alive the search takes priority over Shabbos.

Let us hope we find him soon alive and well. The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for Amit ben Yaffa [and Uri].
