Prominent journalist Dan Margalit on Monday’s edition of the daily Erev Chadash news magazine program exposed another untruth by the prime minister, who stated the deal with Hizbullah does not include the release of “Palestinian prisoners”. Margalit has learned this is not the case, adding the deal which is on the table towards obtaining the release of Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser actually involves the release of some 300 terrorists by Israel. They will be released within two months of the implementation of phase one of the deal with Hizbullah.

A member of the negotiating team involved in arriving at the deal appeared on Margalit’s program and confirmed the report, adding Israel will decide who is released among the 300.

YWN has learned the release of the additional prisoners is a good-will measure by Israel to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
