Yes, he was vaccinated with Pfizer in December. Politics aside, he has covid now. Right now it’s not critical, but he isn’t getting any better and has lower oxygen levels and fever.
Please daven, learn for his refuah. Thank you

Keep in mind that some treatments are more effective if done earlier in the disease process.

Just because it works better, there’s no reason to not take any therapy.
I recommend 200mg Zinc for 5 days Bid and then 100mg Zn everyday.
You must combine it with Quercitin daily, because to get HCQ is a problem – a lot of docs won’t prescribe it & a lot of pharmacies won’t fill it for Covid.August 20, 2021 3:19 pm at 3:19 pm #2001597hujuParticipantTo coffee addict and common saychel: My father’s name is Tzvi ben Aharon, but he is fine. My post took license to make an important point: Tehillim are important, but so is real-world medical precaution.
August 21, 2021 10:26 pm at 10:26 pm #2001722philosopherParticipanthuju, I had covid-19 for a few weeks and it never occured to me to ask others to muzzle their mouths or go into lockdowns or to do anything else with their personal lives because I contracted the virus just I as I wouldn’t ask others to do the same when I got the flu a few years ago and developed a severe case of pneumonia. These expectations and demands are ridiculous.
August 21, 2021 10:26 pm at 10:26 pm #2001723Shimon NodelParticipantThanks everyone. He’s doing better, but still hospitalized

Shimon- glad to hear

Try davening more and worry less, it will reduce your stress level and may prevent a heart attack

No, that was a polite way of saying that he was and is right.August 22, 2021 1:11 am at 1:11 am #2001744Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantIf Hashem wouldn’t want us to worry, he wouldn’t tell us to make a fence on the roof. We were talking a lot about going to shul, but why bother if you don’t listen to the message.

August 26, 2021 11:04 am at 11:04 am #2003177hujuParticipantTo philosopher: You clearly underrate the willingness of people who do not know you to do something to help you and others infected with COVID. And you overlook the responsibility of government to help put an end to a deadly pandemic. I don’t like wearing a mask, or staying inside, or any of the other precautions that are necessary during this pandemic, but I do it gladly to protect the rest of the world, including you, and to bring this pandemic to an end.
August 26, 2021 1:16 pm at 1:16 pm #2003183commonsaychelParticipant@huju, One person dies every 36 seconds in the United States from cardiovascular disease. About 655,000 Americans die from heart disease each year—that’s 1 in every 4 deaths, a major factor of that is stress. How about stop being worried about what other people are doing or if the frum lifestyle can continue to exist, you just may save yourself some heart issues
August 26, 2021 1:18 pm at 1:18 pm #2003202philosopherParticipanthuju, wonderful, you are amazing human being trying to save the world with your mask and all other precautions you are taking. Obviously, my conclusions about the virus, masks, covid vaccines, etc. are different than yours, and that’s why I do things differently. That is freedom guaranteed by the constitution, to be able to act in accordance to ones beliefs.
August 26, 2021 9:40 pm at 9:40 pm #2003391hujuParticipantphilosopher: You do not have a right to make me (or anyone else) sick, unless you do it with words only.
August 27, 2021 7:54 am at 7:54 am #2003467philosopherParticipanthuju, I live normally as a human being should. Everything is in the hands of shamayim, we don’t control the world. If a person knows they are sick with a virus they should stay home until it passes , otherwise we can live normally. Humans are hosts for viruses every single moment of our lives, even before coronavirus, we never muzzled up or social distanced. If you are scared then you are invited to sray in lockdown forever and mask forever,…but noone has to go along with how you decide life should be lived.
August 27, 2021 8:55 am at 8:55 am #2003487commonsaychelParticipant@Huju,
The COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic recession have negatively affected many people’s mental health and substance use disorders. During the pandemic, about 4 in 10 adults in the U.S. have reported symptoms of anxiety or depressive disorder, studies found that many adults are reporting specific negative impacts on their mental health and well-being, such as difficulty sleeping (36%) or eating (32%), increases in alcohol consumption or substance use (12%), and worsening chronic conditions (12%), due to worry and stress over the coronavirus. As the pandemic wears on, ongoing and necessary public health measures expose many people to experiencing situations linked to poor mental health outcomes, such as isolation and job loss.So my dear Huju, relax and give it a rest.
PS try davening more, it can relax youAugust 27, 2021 9:13 am at 9:13 am #2003501☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantShimon, refuah sheleimah for your father
August 27, 2021 1:13 pm at 1:13 pm #2003595hujuParticipantTo philosopher and common saychel: You seem to believe that Hashem expects nothing of us regarding our health and the health of others. That is colossally wrong. You also fail to make any connection between the mitzvah of chesed and an obligation to protect others from your infections by wearing a mask and taking other precautions.
And philosopher, not all viruses are the same. Death rates from viruses other than COVID is generally low, whereas death rates from COVID is, well, a deadly pandemic.

Au contraire my dear Huju, by not being hyper focused on covid I am maintaining mental health and placing less stress on the heart, I recommend you try doing the same, and the biggest chesed you can do is stop buzzing like an annoying fly.October 26, 2021 4:26 pm at 4:26 pm #2020984Shimon NodelParticipantBaruch Hashem, he is finally recovered fully
