His brother, Joseph was a well known rabbi in Central NJ. Joseph was the rabbi at Anshe Emeth in South River for many years prior to its moving to Highland Park. (Anseh Emeth was a conservative congregation.) Joseph helped establish several congregations in NJ including Union Hill and Young Israel in East Brunswick.
