At least 56 people were shot, 11 fatally, in Chicago since Friday evening. Once again, children are among the injured.
Four teenage girls were struck by gunfire from an SUV Saturday night in Austin neighborhood. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
In Auburn Gresham, a man and an 8-year-old boy were shot and wounded early Sunday morning while riding in a car. They are expected to be OK.
In the most recent shootings, six people were shot overnight in separate incidents, with three people dying from their injuries.
Last weekend, 13 people were killed and 33 others wounded in shootings citywide.

Biden was 100% right when he told his Tulsa audience that the GREATEST threat facing our Nation is WHITE supremacists and the Trump Republican party! How many more weekends in Chicago will we have to witness all the killing and mayhem of defenseless blacks, before we start rounding up WHITE males???! Beto O’Rourke and Kirsten Gillabrand said it perfectly during the democrat presidential debates. We must strip all legal registered guns from law-abiding privileged WHITE males! Only then will blacks stop being slaughtered, like worthless meat, by fellow blacks! Mrs. Emhoff must stay on message. White supremacists are destroying this Nation. Blacks are petrified to leave their government funded homes in South Chicago because they fear a white supremacist might be waiting outside. Terrible situation.
