A young Jewish male who was walking with a number of friends on Shabbos afternoon was attacked near Shar Shechem as they returned from the Kosel. The victim was transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center with fractured nose. He also required stitches.

21-year-old Nachman, a resident of the Beis Yisrael neighborhood, was injured in the attack. He explains a vehicle stopped and the Arab occupants got out. One punched him in his face, breaking his eyeglasses. Nachman explains he was stunned and did not respond and they began attacking his friends. He saw border police nearby and summoned them. They managed to arrest one of the attackers.
