You you are so right when discussing a regular brain but when discussing in ADHD brain over stimulation is what it needs to be normal listen to the lecture or read up on Ritalin etc. A ADHD brain it’s constantly stimulated in order for the brain to calm down it needs to get overly stimulated to the point where the brain says okay this is enough and then calm down
