The Knesset Ethics Committee has dismissed a complaint against MK (Ta’al) Dr. Ahmed Tibi for his recent attendance of the Doha Democracy Conference in Qatar. The complaint to the Knesset committee was filed by MKs David Roten (Yisrael Beitenu) and Majalli Whbee (Kadima). The lawmakers maintain that the Tibi was present at the conference to represent Palestine, an unacceptable reality.

Committee officials stated that Tibi was listed as having represented Israel at the conference, prompting the decision to dismiss the complaint against the Arab lawmaker.
