We regret to inform you of the Petira of Mrs Herta Katz A”H – mother of Rav Shmuel Meir Katz Shlita, one of the leading Poskim of Lakewood. The Levaya is scheduled for today (Monday) at 5:00PM in the Lakewood Chapel on 7th Street (by the Bais Olam).
Mrs Katz, who was a long-time resident of Lakewood, was taken to the hospital this past Shabbos from her home, and was Niftar earlier today at the age of 99.

THE KEVURAH WAS IN THE LAKEWOOD CEMETERY NEXT DOOR TO THE CHAPEL A VERY LARGE CROWD CAME TO THE LEVAYA INCLUDING RABBANIM ROSHEI YESHIVA AND MANY CHASHUVIM
She was a very special woman. We used to live in the same apartment building as her on North Lake Drive. Always with a smile and laugh. We will sorely miss such a pleasant woman. She should be a malitzah yosher for us all.
