It is an incredible story that the author is still trying to verify. It does appear in an ArtScroll book and was also part of the words of Chizuk given by Rabbi Dovid Frischman to his talmidim.

It involves the B’Roshi transportation company and a tragic accident that occurred in Elul of 1963. Three Yeshiva students were tragically killed in an accident involving a truck, Their names were Yitzchok Neustadt z”l, Binyomin Friedman z”l, and Mordechai Falk z”l.
It involved a dream, and a Kallah, Dvorah Bas Shimon from Argentina, and a lost holocaust survivor – who was found. It also involves the Mitzvah of Shnayim Mikrah v’Echad Targum.

Osher Schloss. I remember the story at the time, years later i met Rabbi Zeev Feldman rov in London who was in the yeshiva he vererified the story he knew all 3 bochrim
Just like in the current tragedy, that Meron tragedy back in Ellul 1963 also was subject of terrible גזירה since that previous ראש השנה of 1962 also didn’t have תקיעת שופר to be ממתיק the דין
Rabbi Eli Stefanski, told over the story in his Daf shiur, His father was in the bus at the time of the accident. His father remembers the story and remembers the dream being about learning with Rashi. I guess the only one to confirm the part about Rashb’i would be Harav Zev Feldman, Rav of Beis Hamedrash Toras Eitz Chaim (69) London.
Anyone offering to ask him?
The Artscroll book the tale appears in was written by a Hasidic novelist. That should give one pause, and raise doubts, if not over every bit, at least about some parts of it.
reply to ref: written above. Rav Feldman was asked about it many years ago and he confirmed the story as definitely true and knew the 3 bochurim!
