We regret to inform you of the Petira of Rav Zorach Shapiro Z”L of Monsey – one of the last surviving talmidim of the Chofetz Chaim – Niftar early Sunday morning. The Levaya is scheduled for 2:15PM at Bais Tefillah in Monsey, NY.

The Levaya in EY went from Kollel Chazon Ish, and was attended by Rav Chaim Kanievsky Shlit”a and among the maspidim was Rav Michel Yehudah Lefkowitz Shlit”a. Rav Zorach Zatza”l was buried close to the Chazon Ish Zatza”l, one of the Gedolim he was very close to. TNZB”H.
