Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., appeared to shake off comments by the judge in the Derek Chauvin murder trial who said her “confrontational” remarks during a weekend protest in Minnesota could result in “this whole trial being overturned.”
Judge Peter Cahill was asked by Eric Nelson, the defense attorney, to declare a mistrial due to prosecutorial misconduct and Waters’ comments at a Brooklyn Center protest on Saturday night.
She was asked about the Chauvin case and told reporters if the former police officer is not found guilty of murder, “We’ve got to stay on the street and we’ve got to get more active, we’ve got to get more confrontational. We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.”
Nelson told the court that there is a “high probability” that jurors will see Waters’ comments. Cahill denied the request.
“I’ll give you that Congresswoman Waters may have given you something on appeal that may result in this whole trial being overturned,” Cahill said.
Waters was asked about the judge’s comment on Monday and said, “The judge says my words don’t matter.”

She is more than stupid. She is wicked. First Pelosi y”sh defended her inane comments. Then she herself insisted that there was nothing incendiary about them. This two faced liar claimed that Trump’s statement about peaceful demonstration was inciting violence. This evil woman needs to be thrown out of Congress and away from public service of any kind. Mad Maxine is a female version of Al Sharpton. Yet another similarity is that both should be in prison.
So unless the office is declared Guilty, Guilty, Guilty in Justice Maxine Waters’ coatroom this is a sham! Is that correct? What happened to the verdict issued by the court of law: is that just malarchy?
This whole discussion here isn’t really meant to be. Every child knows that Chauvin’s acquittal would result in a fresh wave of nationwide rioting and looting. Maxine just stated the obvious.

He stood a decent chance for a fair trial. What we need is the jury to rule based on the cases presented by the prosecution and the defense, in in consistency with the instructions from the judge. The threats from Malicious Maxine and her gangs of domestic terrorists do not constitute the basis for deciding. And if the masses are unhappy with the verdict, they should never move an inch beyond their verbal expressions of dissatisfaction, as per their First Amendment rights. Once they turn violent, I would love to see them exposed to lethal force to stop them.
The verdict in the Chauvin case was announced an hour ago: guilty on all 3 counts.
Congresswoman Waters has given Mr. Chauvin some hope that the verdicts would be overturned. Does anybody want to thank her for that?

What they “should do” in your normal, moral world isn’t the reality of our insane environment. And once they do react like a bunch of crazed animals, no one will react with any force whatsoever.
