Two yeshiva bochrim were injured in an assault that occurred in Kfar Chabad at about 2:00am Thursday night.
According to a COL report, a red Subaru station wagon stopped in front of the Hyper Lipsker supermarket where the two bochrim were seated. Two men, reported about 30 and about 18, asked the bochrim “is this Kfar Chabad?” The bochrim responded in jest, “No, you are in Bnei Brak”.
The occupants of the vehicle got out and began beating the two all over their bodies, then fleeing the scene. The victims were transported to Assaf HaRofeh Hospital requiring stitches and treatment for bruises and soft tissue injuries. They were released from the emergency room a number of hours later.
The victims told police that the attackers were wearing kippot. Kfar Chabad official Binyamin Lifshitz gave police the video from a security camera that monitors the entrance to the community. Police told Lifshitz police are determined to track down the attackers.

Please never jest when it comes to answering a stanger’s questions. An incident occured a few years ago, where a non-Jew was given misinformation and then went ahead and murdered a Jew, rachmana l’zlan! There are all kinds of people out there. It’s not worth the risk, and furthermore, one is over the Torah issur of lifnei iver, lo titain michshol, giving someone bad wrong information.
